INDIANAPOLIS—Saying there were powerful people out there who didn’t want this information getting out, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers delivered a rant about Windows 11 tips and tricks on The Pat McAfee Show Tuesday after going down the wrong YouTube rabbit hole. “I’m telling you, Pat, there’s an elite cabal in this country who thrive on keeping us in the dark about how to change your default browser in Microsoft’s latest operating system,” said Rodgers, who spent his 15-minute uninterrupted diatribe speculating about what might happen to him if he divulged all of the knowledge about hotkeys, dark mode, and disabling startup apps that he gleaned from six hours of watching YouTube videos. “When I clicked on my first recommended video about right-click context menus, I was skeptical, too. But I swear to God, there are hundreds of way to customize your interface to make your user experience easy and hassle-free. And believe me, every one of these is credible. Obviously, the powers that be want to shut this down. But they’ll have to pry this microphone out of my cold, dead hands before I stop speaking truth to power about the importance of regularly using Disc Cleanup to free up space on your hard drive.” At press time, Pat McAfee expressed gratitude after Rodgers promised to send over a very enlightening Tom’s Hardware forum thread that would would really open the host’s eyes.
